So today is national waffle day but is it your favorite breakfast food?

Mashed polled 45,000 people all over the world to find out which dish is everyone's favorite breakfast food.

People were given five options, eggs, French toast, waffles, pancakes, or others, which were things like bacon, sausage, and toast. , one food won over nearly half of all survey respondents.  And coming in at number one was,.no it was not waffles.

Eggs came in at the number one slot in the poll. My dad used to put eggs on his ketchup ...eeewww on that one for sure.

But I guess I am a little weird with my eggs hard fried maybe a slice of cheese and some salsa, my hubby Scott likes his over easy. everyone usually has a favorite way when it comes to eggs.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
