The Berkshire Eagle reports former Harriman-and-West Airport manager Bill Greenwald will be returning to the airport with a reduced role of facilities manager.

The Airport Commission on Tuesday approved Greenwald's new role, as well as lease terms for Alex Kelly, who is running a skydiving school at the airport and is seeking to rent a small classroom/office space.

Under the arrangement proposed by city Administrative Officer Michael Canales, Greenwald will continue to handle facilities operations to maintain the safety of takeoffs and landings, and other physical operational functions.

Administrative duties such as budgeting, invoicing and leases would be handled by city personnel, including Canales.
