Saturday is Museum Day, "an annual celebration of boundless curiosity hosted by Smithsonian magazine" as it says on their website. To celebrate they're giving away free tickets to selected locations. Your Museum Day ticket provides free admission for two people to one location. And because free is always good, we wanted to clue you in on the deal.

In Adams, you can visit the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum and learn about the town's native daughter in the house where she lived as a young child. Tickets are also available for the Williams College Museum of Art in Williamstown. Or take a short road trip to explore the Merwin House in Stockbridge.

Northward in Vermont, free passes are available for the Bennington Museum and the Bennington Battle Monument State Historic Site, as well as the American Museum of Fly Fishing in Manchester.

These are some of the Museum Day sites closest to us, but the webpage is searchable by state, zip code, and type of museum. Just remember: it's one pair of freebies per e-mail address, so decide where you want to go before you click for your tix.
