Area schools continue to provide free meals to students whose families rely on this supplemental nutrition source.

But since schools have closed for several weeks to avoid possible spread of the new coronavirus, several districts are providing meals to go.

North Adams

The city's public schools are providing "grab and go" meals on a first-come, first-served basis through April 3, the district said in a news release. The meals will be available from 11 a.m. to noon only.

Children must be present to receive both a lunch and a breakfast at the following locations:

- Brayton Elementary School, 20 Barbour St.

- Colegrove Park Elementary School, 24 Church St.

- Mohawk Forest Apartments, 201 Mohawk Forest Blvd.

- Greylock Valley Apartments, 48 Angeli St.
