Five Candidates Vie for Three Seat On School Committee

There are five candidates running for three openings on the North Adams School Committee. Each term is for four years.

The Berkshire Eagle  reports that Karen Bond and Tara Jacobs are both seeking second terms. Also running are Emily Daunis, David Sookey III, and Robert Moulton Jr., who has served five terms on the North Adams City Council, and is again running for a council seat this year.

Meanwhile, there are four candidates running for three openings on the McCann Technical High School governing committee in North Adams. Each term is for four years.

The candidates are William Diamond and George Canales, both incumbents in the race, as well as Shannon Santelli and Peter Breen. Election Day is Tuesday with the polls in North Adams open from 9AM to 7PM.
