A North Adams man already facing child pornography accusations in Berkshire County has been indicted by a federal grand jury on four similar charges.

The Berkshire Eagle reports Anthony Deordio 43, was charged in U.S. District Court on Thursday with one count each of sexual exploitation of a minor, distribution of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

The federal charges allege that Deordio used a child to produce pornography and distributed, received and possessed the same from November 2017 to March.

Details regarding the allegations are not immediately available. A motion to seal an affidavit in the case was granted by Judge Katherine A. Robertson.

The motion was filed because the affidavit would have identified a juvenile victim of a sex crime, according to the available court records.

As of Friday afternoon, no next dates in Deordio's case had yet been set.

He remains held on $2,500 bail.

A conviction of sexual exploitation of a minor carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, with a maximum penalty of 30 years.
