A North Adams man already facing child pornography accusations in Berkshire County has been indicted by a federal grand jury on four similar charges.

The Berkshire Eagle reports Anthony K. Deordio, 43, was charged in U.S. District Court on Thursday with one count each of sexual exploitation of a minor, distribution of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

The federal charges allege that Deordio used a child to produce pornography and distributed, received and possessed the same from November 2017 to March.

Details regarding the allegations are not immediately available.

As of Friday afternoon, no next dates in Deordio's case had yet been set.

He pleaded not guilty in Berkshire Superior Court in April to three counts of knowingly possessing visual material of a child depicted in sexual conduct. Each of those counts is being charged as a subsequent offense.

A conviction of sexual exploitation of a minor carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, with a maximum penalty of 30 years.
