The Berkshire Eagle reports early voting in cities and towns throughout Massachusetts begins Saturday and will continue through Oct. 30.

Voting sites will operate as ballot drop-off locations for those who have received vote-by-mail ballots. More than 1.3 million ballots have been mailed to voters throughout the state as of Monday morning, according to a news release Secretary of the Commonwealth William F. Galvin.

“We have been working closely with cities and towns this year to make sure they are holding in-person voting in locations that are large and spacious enough to allow for social distancing and safe voting,” Galvin said in the release. “
