When I'm on the road I am constantly looking out for a driver not paying attention or impaired when I am approaching and entering an intersection.  Years ago I was struck and by a driver that blew through a stop sign, causing my SUV to flip over three times before coming to rest.  If not for my seat belt I am certain I would not be alive today.

The story posted earlier this week by the North Adams Police on their Facebook page is what reinforces my driving paranoia.  It is irresponsible people like the male arrested on Monday that needs to be locked up, giving help for his obvious addiction and face the consequences for his negligent disregard for human life and the law.

There is no excuse for driving drunk...a four-time offender needs to have the book thrown at them.  Bagged for the forth time makes me wonder how many times he was not stopped and arrested when driving drunk.  I fell strongly that his name needs to be released by police.  He should not escape the wrath of the community as he continues to put our love ones lives in danger.

Below is the North Adams Police post on their Facebook page…
