A Bennington woman is facing charges in North Adams, Mass., after allegedly causing two car accidents on the same stretch of city roadway in less than a month.

The Bennington Banner reports Stacy Fuhlbrigge, 31, was already the suspect in a June 17 hit and run on Massachusetts Avenue when she allegedly crashed into a telephone pole on River Street on July 14.

Shortly after 4:30 p.m. on July 14, an off-duty officer reported an accident on River Street, where a blue Hyundai Elantra with Vermont license plates struck a pole near Don's Service Center and continued west as River Street becomes Massachusetts Avenue.

In the June case, she pleaded not guilty to single counts of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, and a marked lanes violation.

In the July case, Fuhlbrigge pleaded not guilty to single counts of operating under the influence of drugs, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage, class A drug possession, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and a marked lanes violation.
