The Massachusetts State Police have partnered with 15 other agencies including The Environmental Police to put on the Western Massachusetts First Responder Safety Festival.  The event will take place at the Sunderland Elementary School on Friday, October 8th between 3:30 and 8 PM.

According to a post to the State Police Facebook page, the festival will feature fire department and paramedic CPR demonstrations, a helicopter landing, K-9 demonstrations, water and boating safety information, a car safety seat table, farmers market, outdoor games, and face painting for the kids, food trucks and more.

The festival is yet another opportunity to bring the public together with law enforcement and others on the front line in a fun and relaxed environment.

Sunderland Elementary School is located at 1 Swampfield Drive in Sunderland.  This is a free event for all ages. According to the release, the event will follow CDC masking guidelines.
