COVID forces cancelation of 2 Bruins games…the B’s face the Flyers tonight on WNAW at 7pm

The Bruins got news from the NHL today that two upcoming games have been postponed. The B’s were scheduled to play two games against the Sabers this Saturday and again on Monday in Buffalo. Two Sabers players have tested positive for COVID-19 forcing the postponement of all Sabers games at least through February 8^th. NHL protocols kick in putting a stop to all team practices, games and other activities. The team’s training facility is closed until further notice.

The Bruins can inch closer to the division leading Flyers tonight with a win in Philly. The Bruins are in 3^rd in the East Division 1-point behind the Flyers and Capitals. WNAW will carry the Bruins game tonight at 7pm over the Celtics who are on the west coast to take on the Kings in Sacramento at 10pm. The Bruins pre-game will start at 6:30pm and can also be heard on sister station WBEC-AM 1420 in the Pittsfield area.

In addition to the Bruins and Celtics, WNAW and WBEC also carry the Red Sox and the Patriots regular season games. Below is the complete sports broadcast schedule for the upcoming weeks…
