Cam Newton could be on the field when the Pats meet the Broncos Sunday afternoon.  Cam was officially move off the NFL’s Covid-19 list today clearing the path for him to start practicing with the team as early as tomorrow.

The Pat’s QB has been on the shelf since he tested positive for the coronavirus on October 3rd.  The Patriots defensive standout Stephon Gilmore, who tested positive on October 7th, is hoping to rejoin the team soon.  Gilmore tweeted soon after his positive test result that he was asymptomatic.

The players have had to be flexible with all of the game postponements, game rescheduling and then rescheduling again.  Their full practices have been few and far between as they have had team meetings remotely and have practiced at Gillette in shifts.  Tomorrow they are expected to undergo a full practice with their star quarterback back in uniform.

You can hear Sunday’s game against the Broncos on 1230 WNAW and in Pittsfield on 1420 WBEC-AM.  Pre-game begins at 12 noon with the kickoff at 1.  The NFL prohibits the radio stations from streaming the game online.
