Berkshire Gas Files For Rate Increase
If you’re a Berkshire Gas Customer expect you can expect an increase in your bill soon.
Berkshire Gas customers could see an annual increase of about $40 in their gas bill beginning next April.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that the company has filed a petition with the Department of Public Utilities for a rate increase — the first such request in 17 years.
The utility is seeking to increase its annual net revenues by $3.1 million, or 4.3 percent.
