While this was originally scheduled as a "rain or shine" event, no one said anything about sleet & snow, which the Berkshires was treated to today.  So the organizers have announced that the Adams Holly Days Tree Lighting has been cancelled.

No reschedule date was mentioned in today's announcement on Facebook.

Adams Holly Days will begin as Adams Community Bank sponsors the day at the Adams Town Common. From 2-5 P.M. Sunday your family can enjoy free carriage rides and music, and keep warm with free hot cocoa, coffee and donuts donated by the Adams Elks and Lions Clubs.
Caroling by local groups and Adams children is sure to entertain you. And don't forget to enter your family for a free drawing. Santa will arrive at 3:00 with goodies for all the kiddies, with the tree lighting set for 4:30.
