The Berkshire Eagle  reports an Adams man was arrested Saturday in an August shooting that claimed the life of 32-year-old Stephanie Olivieri, according to the Berkshire District Attorney's Office.

Tyler Sumner, 25, faces a murder charge stemming from the Columbus Avenue homicide, according to Andy McKeever, a spokesman for the DA's office. Sumner is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Berkshire District Court.

McKeever said officers with the Pittsfield Police Department arrested Sumner with assistance from patrol units in Adams and North Adams.

Olivieri, of Yonkers, N.Y., was shot once Aug. 25 while sitting in a car on Columbus Avenue. Investigators did not believe that she was the intended target, officials said in the days after the shooting.
