The Adams Holly Days, including the tree-lighting ceremony, is set for the Adams Town Common starting at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Santa arrives at 3 p.m., and the tree lighting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

The Berkshire Eagle reports local groups of adults and children will be singing Christmas carols, and there will be a drawing for prizes, with each family allowed one entry.

There also will be free carriage rides, hot cocoa, coffee, and doughnuts.

Santa will be carrying free goodies for all the kids.

Festivities will be held rain or shine.
