Adams Community Bank has given $100,000 to help fund the purchase of personal protective equipment for Berkshire Health Systems caregivers and staff in the fight against the coronavirus, according to a news release Friday from BHS.

In addition to the gift to the recently established COVID-19 Relief Fund, the bank also committed to funding one month of emergency child care — valued at $25,000 — for BHS employees through an arrangement with the Berkshire Family YMCA.

Adams Community Bank is an independent, community savings bank with eight branches across the Berkshires.
