Breaking up with someone isn't fun . . . at least it shouldn't be.

A new survey by Mashable / Bustle  found 78% of people between 18 and 33 years old have had someone dump them by just simply disappearing. Meaning, the person suddenly stopped returning their texts, calls, and other messages . . . and that was the end.

If you're not familiar, the term for that move is "ghosting."  Feel free to partake in it, apparently it's all good now.

Here are a few more results from the survey . . .

1.  Only 17% of people call someone after a first date.  66% say the best way to follow up is with a text.

2.  14% of people have pulled the old sitcom move and scheduled two dates for one night.

3.  And half of the people doing online dating right now say they've been using it for at least five years.
