Williamstown Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Babysitter
The Berkshire Eagle reports a Williamstown man is accused of sexually assaulting a babysitter.
According to a statement the baby sitter gave to police, Peter Kapiloff, 36, hired an 18-year-old babysitter and allegedly touched her without her consent April 23.
The victim said that, after previous unwanted touching that elicited a negative response, Kapiloff touched the side of her body and her breast outside of her clothing, according to the abbreviated report filed by Williamstown Police.
Kapiloff, of Hancock Road, pleaded not guilty in Northern Berkshire District Court on Wednesday to a single count of indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 years old.
He was released on personal recognizance on the conditions that he stay away from and not contact the alleged victim.
Kapiloff is next scheduled to appear in court Aug. 8 for a pretrial hearing.
