The North Adams Ambulance, Fire and Police Departments, together with the North Adams Rotary, are asking for your help again this year in making a child’s Christmas merry and bright.

They will be holding a toy drive at Walmart on Curran Highway from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Saturday, November 24. Vehicles from each department will be on display that day. All donations received will be used to aid local families this holiday season. They ask that all toys be new and unwrapped. And this year they're also asking for donations of hats and mittens to keep the little ones warm.

It should be quite a festive event with lots of cheer and goodwill in the air, but If you can't stop by on that day, no worries. Toys and other items may be dropped off at any of the Public Safety stations in the city.

Last year’s event was a huge success and with your generosity, organizers are hoping this year's will be even bigger.
