North Adams Mayor Bernard Reacts to FBI Crime Stats (AUDIO)

Last week, a new FBI report on crime rates was released which ranked North Adams and Pittsfield among the Massachusetts cities and towns with the highest violent crime rate according to 2017 federal data. North Adams, in fact, was at the top of the list, while Pittsfield ranked fifth.

Appearing on a recent Community Insight show, North Adams Mayor Tom Bernard gave his reaction to the report, including some information to help put the statistics into context.
