OFFICIAL RULES FOR VOX COMMUNICATIONS 2010 “ULTIMATE HOME MAKEOVER” PROMOTION

OVERVIEW:

Between June 6th, and August 28th radio stations WSBS, WNAW, WBEC and WUPE will be conducting a series of “Ultimate Home Makeover” live broadcasts at various locations throughout their listening areas.

At each of these broadcasts we will draw the names of three or more people who will receive a certificate that will register them as one of up to 200 people who will be entered for a chance to win the “Ultimate Home Makeover” .On August 28th all certificate winners will be brought together at Bousquet Ski Area on Dan Fox Drive in Pittsfield. One of the certificate holders will be chosen that day to win the Grand Prize. Certificate holders must be present at the final giveaway to win. No substitutes or proxies are allowed.

WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED:

Installation of items is not included unless specifically noted.

DELIVERY RADIUS:
The Grand Prize items will only be delivered and or installed to one home located within Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The prize may not be broken up and sent or installed at different addresses.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

Participants may register at any “Ultimate Home Makeover” broadcast. Random drawings will be held at each “Ultimate Home Makeover” live broadcast to determine finalists from those present. Each finalist must be present to win and present a valid drivers license or US Government or State issued picture I.D. to claim their certificate. No substitutes or proxies are allowed.

One registration per visit, per person, per location. Winner of a key certificate may win only once during the duration of the contest. The 30 day rule does not apply to this contest. Certificates of winners are void and will be rejected if found to be: counterfeit, altered, reproduced, illegible, duplicated or tampered with in any way.

Dates, times and locations of upcoming remotes will be announced on air on the participating stations throughout the summer.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

The promotion is open to all legal residents of the United States that are at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or US Government or State issued picture I.D. and are not part of the excluded group listed below. The prize will only be delivered and or installed to one address in Berkshire County.

WHO CANNOT PARTICIPATE?

Employees and their *Immediate Family members of Vox Communications, any Radio station, are ineligible to win.

Owners and their Immediate Family members of any business that is a prize providing sponsor of the promotion are ineligible to win.

Employees of businesses participating in live broadcasts may not register during the broadcasts held at that business.

• Immediate Family is defined as: the spouse, guardian, children, parents, brothers, sisters, in laws, grandparents, grandchildren and any person of a familial relationship with the employee.

WHAT THE WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Winner is responsible for Federal, State and local taxes. Winner will be issued 1099 tax forms for the total value of all the items received.

The winner is responsible for all taxes, whether they own the home that receives the improvements or not.

The winner may decline to receive certain items they have no use for, and will not receive a 1099 form for the value of the items that are declined.

Upon winning, the winner must provide the address of the home at which the materials will be delivered or installed.

The winner must take delivery of, or arrange for installation of, all prizes, within 90 days of winning.

The Grand Prize Winner agrees to hold Vox Communications harmless in the event one of the sponsors is unable to provide their promised prize or service due to unforeseen circumstances such as death, bankruptcy, etc.

In the event that due to unforeseen circumstances the drawing can not be held, certificate winners will be notified of a new date or a random drawing will be held and the winner will be announced on air.

You may designate a home other than your own, to receive the products/services, however you will still be responsible for all taxes and will receive a 1099 tax form for the full value of all items given away.

If you decline a portion of the prize, that portion will become the property of Vox Communications and your 1099 tax form will reflect the lower value of the items received.
