I picked up a couple of really nice tomatoes last weekend at the North Adams Farmers Market.  It was good to find some late summer produce still available from many of the local vendors on hand, even as the season transitions toward fall harvest time.

The Market will continue outdoors at the Municipal Parking Lot from 9-1 on Saturdays pretty much through October.  But there will be one small change this weekend, on Sept.15. With Mass MOCA's "Fresh Grass Festival" running Friday through Sunday, the Farmers Market will vacate the parking lot & move just behind it onto Center St. between Marshall & Holden, for the same time, from 9-1.

A variety of vendors from the Berkshires and nearby will once again be there to tempt you with fresh, local fruits & vegetables, cheese, baked goods, eggs, meat, and other products. More info can be found on the Market's Facebook page. EBT, debit and credit cards and good old cash are accepted, and MARKET MATCH (SNAP token doubling) is BACK!  Feel free to contact the North Adams Office of Tourism at 413-664-6180 with any questions.
