The North Adams Ambulance Service is rallying behind one of its own.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that a spaghetti dinner fundraiser is being held tonight for Advanced EMT Juli Taylor, whose family was left homeless after a fire damaged her Central Avenue apartment May 1st.

Taylor was working when the fire started.

She raced home to rescue her dogs. Taylor's children were not home when the fire started.

Little inside was spared from fire, water or smoke damage inside the home. The dinner, at the North Adams American Legion, runs from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
