Berkshire County knows David York as the man just daring enough to open a museum dedicated to dogs and emblazon the sides of a stretch limousine with a depiction of a dachshund.

The Berkshire Eagle reports he's also no stranger to owning restaurants and plans to open his first in the city, on Marshall Street.

York has gained Planning Board approval to open Bowlin' on the River in the former Brewhaha space.

Bowlin' on the River has space for about 40 seats and will be set up in much the same way that Brewhaha was before it.

He also plans to set up two food trucks, primarily aimed at serving the patrons of the Museum of Dog on Union Street.
