A grandfather of seven from Cheshire will receive $25,000 a year for life after he won a state Lottery prize Monday at an Adams Supermarket.

The Berkshire Eagle reports that Donald Oltsch won the multi-state Lucky for Life prize when the first five numbers on his Quic Pic matched the lottery drawing.

Rather than receive a lump sum, Oltsch decided on annual payments every year for the rest of his life.

He’s guaranteed to receive his winnings for 20 years. He says he plans on using the money to help out his family.

Oltsch purchased the winning ticket at Big Y on Myrtle Street; the store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
