Car Thieves Are Busted When They Stop to Ask a Cop for Gas

A woman and two men in Leduc, Alberta, Canada stole a car on Friday . . . but as they drove it down the freeway, they ran out of gas.

The Calgary Herald says they pulled over to the side of the road . . . right in front of a cop car.

And then the woman got out and asked the cop for help.

As he was talking to her, he figured out she had an outstanding warrant . . . and then he noticed the two guys in the car were trying to hide.

And that's when the cop finally realized the car was stolen.  Then, when he searched it, he found one kilogram of meth and 85 grams of cocaine.

All three were arrested.
