In an effort to strengthen and expand opportunities for area school children and educators, Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield is offering free school visits to the Museum for all students during the 2018-2019 academic year.

According to the Berkshire Eagle, officials say that any teacher, teaching any grade, in any school, can bring their students to the Berkshire Museum for free for an unlimited number of visits.

The free admission for students and educators coincides with the publication of the Museum’s 2018-2019 Educators’ Guide, which outlines opportunities that exist in the Museum for interdisciplinary learning that builds on curriculum and classroom standards.

The guide is available on the Museum’s website, berkshiremuseum.org.
