Adams: Mardi Gras benefit for Haiti Plunge

Haiti Plunge Inc. will be hosting a Creole Mardi Gras fundraiser from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at Notre Dame Hall.

Since 1984, the Haiti Plunge has been sending area high school and college students to Haiti's mountain villages where they complete service projects, make connections and learn about a different culture.

The evening includes a Caribbean dinner and music, a slide show of past Haiti Plunge Teams, children's activity stations, and a Haitian art show/silent auction.

Tickets cost $12, $10 for seniors and children, and free for children 5 and under. Masks are included.
